Ron Motsch, our Founder and President, is an industry innovator in presenting cutting-edge data in clear, concise, understandable formats. He routinely provides clients with market-level information that demonstrates how technologies move through supply-chain settings, making evident where opportunities exist to optimize the cost equation, ultimately driving value to their bottom line.
The archetypical businessman, Ron raises the very definition of quality throughout his organization to a new industry level, setting a standard of excellence unmatched by his peers. His extensive operating experience and inherent business sense add detail and depth to the management of all of the company’s building system projects, which has led to his companies collectively being regarded as the foremost and fastest growing energy services enterprises in the industry.
Ron previously served at the corporate epicenter of energy strategy development of Knowledge Universe U.S., the largest privately-held education firm in America, where he oversaw the execution of those activities throughout their organization. In just 39 months under his tutelage, Knowledge Universe reduced its utility expense by over $20 million, driving all of that value to profit for the company. In addition, its energy consumption was lessened by roughly 27%, shrinking its carbon footprint in a commensurate way.
While with Knowledge Universe, Ron became convinced that many of the types of initiatives undertaken - and most of the wisdom obtained from those practices - would lend themselves to other organizations faced with the same challenges and opportunities. Born of that awareness, Ron launched and cultivated U.S. Power, where he directs the development and execution of all practices across its enterprise. Guiding a diversity of clients in the utilization of data and strategic insights as state-of-the-art building technologies are implemented, he leads in enhancing system deployments and integration, ultimately reducing each firm’s operating costs.
Ron’s team continues to develop analytical frameworks for shaping the business case for technological deployments in the built environment. The companies’ commitment to improving upon the ways in which industry, commerce and institutions utilize building systems and services is unmatched, surpassed only by the unique approach they take to generating and preserving customer satisfaction.
